October blog from ElevateHer International — Empowering women to heal, grow, and thrive across the globe!

This month we are focusing on the impact of ElevateHer: It’s working!

Letter From Our CEO

Dear Friends,

This month, I’ve been reflecting on how essential community is; not only for our individual wellness, but also for changing the systems and harmful narratives that keep people from flourishing.

During our recent time in Kenya, we engaged with four different groups of women leaders. Each group was filled with women who desired change in their own lives and in the lives of those around them. Yet one truth kept emerging: change is difficult when you are trying to do the work alone.

One of the greatest barriers to transformation is feeling like you are the only person pushing against harmful narratives, challenging unhealthy systems, or imagining something different.

I shared this message with each group, a value that drives the work we do at ElevateHer: There is no healing and transformation without a beloved community. We need each other to heal. We need each other to challenge harmful systems and build healthier ones to help us flourish. And to do that, we need to commit to one another, to hold each other up not just for a moment, but for the long haul.

That is how communities change.

Thank you for being a part of our beloved community, for standing with ElevateHer and helping us cultivate communities where healing can take root, leaders can be strengthened, and people can flourish.

With gratitude,
Dieula Previlon
Founder & CEO, ElevateHer International

Our 5th Leadership Cohort Begins Today!

Today, we launch our 5th virtual cohort for leaders, welcoming 11 women and men who are beginning their journey toward becoming trauma-informed leaders.

I’m especially grateful that this is one of the spaces where men join us in the work of understanding trauma—because when men are trauma-informed, women are safer, families are stronger, and communities are healthier.

Will you pray with us? Pray for each participant and facilitator, for the technology to work smoothly, and for the Spirit of God to bring healing, wisdom, and a renewed vision for how each leader can become an agent of healing in their community.

And pray that ElevateHer continues to receive the resources needed to make these transformative trainings accessible to more leaders.

Healthy leaders help create healthier communities.

National Do Something Nice Day! October 5th

October 5th is National Do Something Nice Day, a day that celebrates acts of kindness and reminds us that simple good deeds can make the world a better place. Our generous ElevateHer supporters embody this spirit every single day.

Your gifts and partnership are so much more than a simple good deed; they are profound acts of solidarity, care, and restoration. In a world where women navigating trauma in under-resourced communities are so often left to carry heavy burdens in isolation, your kindness helps create safe sanctuaries, like our Healing Circles, where women are seen, heard, supported, and reminded that they do not have to walk alone.

When you choose kindness, you aren’t just making a gift; you are helping us demonstrate that when women heal, entire communities flourish.

So today, on National Do Something Nice Day, we invite you to turn kindness into action. Make a monthly gift to ElevateHer and help create a space where another woman can begin her healing journey. Whether your monthly gift is $5, $25, $50, or more, your generosity joins with others to make healing possible.

Do something nice today. Give a monthly gift of healing.

Thank you for standing with us, believing in restoration, and being such a vital part of our global community.

Coming up… Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday may be a couple of months away, but we are already praying and planning. Everything we do at ElevateHer requires intention, prayer, preparation, and partnership.

Would you begin praying with us now? Pray for the people who will come alongside ElevateHer and generously share their resources to help women heal and communities flourish. Pray that God will provide everything needed for the work ahead.

And as we prepare to enter this giving season, we invite you to also pray about how you might join us—whether by giving, sharing our mission with others, or inviting your community to participate.

Together, we can be intentional about  preparing the way for greater impact.

Let’s Meet…

I want to thank the many partners who have already met with me so together we can dream of the next phase of ElevateHer.

If you’d simply like to connect with me directly, I would absolutely love that. You can schedule time with me using my personal Google calendar link below.

We truly believe that this work grows through relationships and you are a vital part of that.
