WHAT WE DO
The charge for ElevateHer comes from Deuteronomy when Moses challenged the Israelites to face their destiny and cross the Jordan River: “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction…Now choose life, so that you and your children may live” (30:15, 19b). As Moses, we believe that even when chaotic events have taken place, women must choose how to respond. Our role is to empower women who have suffered painful life events and who are stuck and cannot move forward, to take the first steps toward their destiny—toward choosing life.
Our trainings fall under three main topics:
- Bible Study Methods and Comprehension
- Leadership Development
Women’s conferences are a great way to engage multiple women at the same time, and it is our goal to equip each participant with a conference notes booklet, Bible, book, and a small gift they can use in their daily lives. The conferences feature creative methods for delivering the message such as singing, acting, and art.
We cover topics such as:
Trauma (what it is and how to heal from it)
Children and abuse
Bible study methods
These sessions are for ministry leaders, missionaries, and other staff who desire to provide accurate and relevant information to those they serve in need.
What is trauma?
How to identify abuse in children?
How to help those that are suffering?
Serving the traumatized without further harming them
What does the healing process look like?
How to help develop a community of leaders that care for the hurting in their communities?
Creating a crisis intervention plan
Leadership Training For Both Men
In small groups, the master coach facilitates the process of peer learning by guiding discussions and encouraging each member to set tangible goals and action steps on how they will have an impact on their communities. Geared toward cohorts growing and developing over time, we walk these leaders through the training, which follows the same creative format as the women’s conferences.
Trauma (what it is and how one heals from trauma)
Children and abuse
Using the bible effectively in the healing process
Developing an effective ministry to serve the community
Leadership development 101
Crisis Intervention Plan
If you request individual counseling and coaching, we are happy to provide it; however, our hope is to help leaders develop a team of skilled professionals who can offer this type of one-on-one support for people they serve who are struggling.
