PTSD
The lifetime prevalence of PTSD is 5 to 6% in men and 10 to 12% in women. This means that women have almost double the rate of PTSD as men.
Sexual Assault
About 1 out of every 6 women has experienced attempted or completed sexual assault or rape in her lifetime.
Violence
1 in 3 (35%) of women worldwide have experienced either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime.
